About the role

We are expanding our team and looking for someone to work alongside and learn from our highly skilled, passionate, and fun medicine nurses. Our medicine team is progressive, and we have leadership opportunities within the team for nurses wanting to strive for future growth and development.

With the support of our Senior Medicine Nurses, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with our Specialists, Registrars, Residents and Interns to provide outstanding patient care. This includes monitoring patient anaesthesia, assisting with imaging, preparing patients for procedures and caring for hospital patients.

About you

We are looking for compassionate, dedicated, and highly motivated nurses with strong clinical skills. To be considered for this position, you will have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and, ideally, experience in an emergency or a referral setting. The position would be well suited to nurses who demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A keen desire to advance their knowledge and clinical skills
  • A flexible, enthusiastic, and positive attitude

About you

We are looking for a committed and highly motivated nurse with strong clinical skills to join our busy nursing team. To be considered for this position you will have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, and experience within emergency and critical care, the desire for further education and training, and the ability to be a part of a positive team culture. The position would be well suited to nurses who demonstrate the following:

  • A flexible, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
  • An ability to manage stressful situations and high work pressure

We are unique in that we have a close association with a five-hospital general practice group which provides a large and varied case load.

About the role

This role is the perfect opportunity for a qualified nurse wanting to transition from general practice to referral nursing. Let us teach you. Throughout your development, we will provide you with on-the-job training and extensive support in the form of a personalised induction and a structured training program based on your current level of competency. Your shifts will be scheduled alongside one of our senior referral nurses who have advanced skills in the surgical environment, offering you a safe and supported clinical setting that maximises your growth and learning. Shifts are all during the day. No after-hours shifts are required for this role. You have the option of joining us either on a permanent full-time or part-time basis.

About you

We are looking for a passionate, resilient, and highly motivated nurse who is eager to advance their clinical skills and experience. To be considered for this position, you must have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a GP clinic.

The position would be well suited to nurses who demonstrate the following:

  • An interest in surgery and a desire to upskill
  • A strong desire to provide the best patient care
  • A flexible and positive attitude towards work
  • An ability to manage stressful situations and high-pressure work
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for learning
