About the role
This role is available on a part-time or full-time basis and involves a mixture of evenings, nights, and weekends. Leadership opportunities are available for nurses who are looking to grow and develop their careers.
As an ECC nurse, you’ll play a vital role in patient outcomes, delivering around-the-clock bedside care while supporting their pet parents. Do what you do best — be the eyes, ears, and hands of our highly skilled veterinary team.

About you
We’re seeking a committed and highly motivated nurse with strong clinical skills to join our busy nursing team. The position would be well-suited to nurses who demonstrate the following:
- Cert 4 or higher in VN with 2-3 years in ECC or GP equivalent
- Strong teamwork skills, a can-do attitude
- Ability to work a full cohort of shifts across a 365, 7days a week, nights and days
- Good client communication skills, and a strong advocate of the human animal bond
- Enthusiasm for learning new skills, eating snacks and good vibes

- Work with two specialists in ECC: a residency-trained registrar and a highly experienced team of ECC vets, so you know we are practising on the cutting edge and at the highest quality of ECC.
- Crack out your nursing skills on trauma patients, ventilator patients, critical anaesthetics and blood transfusions while working hard in a busy, constantly changing caseload.
- Learn to place central lines, arterial catheters and manage chest drains, while providing comprehensive care to all your patients, big and small.
- Work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with specialists in ECC, surgery, anaesthesia and internal medicine, while our in-house GP team takes care of routine care, leaving you to enjoy the intensity and fast pace of ECC.
